Sarah - The oldest of the sisters. Now government minister for Climate Change Freya - The middle sister, a secondary school teacher on maternity leave Jasmine - The youngest sister, thrown out of university for throwing a bookcase at her lecturer Colin - Sarah’s down-trodden husband, ‘a bit weird’ Steve - Freya’s husband on a mission to find out why his wife is ‘not right’ Tom - Jasmine’s ‘latest’, his family is from Eritrea, but he has never been there Robert - Father to the three girls, he is represented both in 1970s and current day. Mrs Andrews - Robert’s housekeeper Peter / Emily - the future representation of Freya’s daughter Carter - lobbyist attempting to influence Sarah on the issue of airport runways Simon - Sarah’s Personal Assistant Tim - Freya's doctor |
