FUTURE SHOWS

Roger is having trouble getting a team together for the afternoon fixture against the British Railways Maintenance Division, Yeading East, but this proves to be the least of anyone's worries. Bob is having marriage trouble, as he is still doing odd jobs for his ex-wife behind his current wife's back. Dennis is also having marital problems, as his wife seems intent on moving house, despite the fact that that they moved only recently. When he finally puts his foot down, she sets fire to his new car.

Kevin is trying to fight off his over-affectionate wife Maggie while, at the same time, nursing his injured spinning finger - and Alex's new girlfriend ends up shutting herself in the toilets having hysterics. Even Roger's seemingly-perfect marriage to Miriam hits the skids when she discovers that he was playing from home in more ways than one. Just when it seems that things can't get any worse for them, it starts to rain...

 

Richard Harris's classic comedy will be performed at the Court Theatre, Pendley, from 18 - 21 April 2012 and will be directed by Pat Daniels (who you may well have seen as one of the 'Little Old Ladies' in The Producers in November.

Taken from the wonderful stories of Damon Runyon and featuring the words and music of Frank Loesser, this show is a perenniel favourite of audiences everywhere. Musical numbers include 'Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat', ' A Bushel and a Peck', 'Luck be a Lady', 'Guys and Dolls' - and many more.

The show will be directed by Pauline Aldridge, with Roy Mathers as Musical Director, and will be performed at The Court Theatre, Pendley, from 6-10 November 2012.

The first get-together and pre-audition rehearsal will be on Monday 25 June, with another pre-audition rehearsal on Wednesday 27 June. These will both start at 8pm and will be at Ashley Green Memorial Hall. Auditions, also at Ashley Green, will be on Sunday 1 July (time to be confirmed.)
